BOMCRYL D-3 is a rubberizing product that was developed from elastomeric resins, which are highly resistant to ultraviolet rays and weather changes. BOMCRYL D-3 is flexible and cold vulcanized “in loco” and comes ready to be used and replaces completely the traditional asphaltic cover. Its outstanding and environmental friendly formula makes BOMCRYL D-3 a product totally different from the other rubberizing ones of acrylic base. This new formula was developed from special resin combination that provides excellent WATERPROOF outdoors as indoors. It has excellent resistance to NEGATIVE PRESSURE, it should be applied on totally dry surfaces that can be cold or hot (see important recommendation), vertical or horizontal. Besides those advantages, the product is PERMEABLE to WATER VAPOR, so it allows that the humidity leaves the layers, avoiding wall blisters. Due to the cold vulcanization “IN LOCO” (avoiding the use of burners and boilers), BOMCRYL D-3 doesn’t have any type of mend so there aren’t weak or vulnerable points. As a material obtained from acrylic ester polymerization and after being dry, it doesn’t present any change in direct and permanent contact with water, avoiding contamination.
For these reasons, it is considered the most specific and recommended rubberizing product for potable water tank.
Its high elasticity rate (up to 400%) is one of the strongest points, BOMCRYL D-3 adapts to the fissures that might appear in the rubberized areas and it can return to the initial state in case of opposite pulsion.
BOMCRYL D-3 allows flexible cover in a wide and varied temperature range, high chemical resistance, complete thermal adjustment, transportability, inflammability, resistant to acid environment, sodium hypochlorite (chlorine), besides aesthetic versatility due to colors.
